The fishtail back cut featured in our new Harry pants captures a trouser style popular through the 1930s and into the 1950s. A lightweight and comfortable pair of trousers, the Harry give a sophisticated vintage look when paired with some classic trouser braces. This listing is for the navy blue colourway.
The trousers have a tapered, rounded fishtail at the back. They are designed to be worn with braces, hence the buttons on both the front and back of the waistband exterior. Additionally, a narrow strip of non-slip rubber lines the inside of the waistband to keep the trousers secure and ensure that a shirt remains tucked in, regardless of your movements. This makes them especially popular with dancing enthusiasts!
The Harry pants have side adjusters at the waist to achieve the perfect fit. Double pleats at the front and a zip fly that maintains a flat silhouette over the tummy area.
There are two vertical side seam pockets, as well as a horizontal pocket at the back and a watch pocket at the front, both with button-down pointed flaps.
Turn-up hems with a depth of 2” and an approx. circumference of 19".
Measurements:
All inside leg measurements are approximately 31", but please take into account the trouser rise which is lower and adds at least another inch to the length.
Because of the larger trouser rise, they can fit up to 33" depending on where they are worn on the waist.
These trousers are high-waisted, so their cut may mean a tighter fit. We recommend ordering the next size up, or for better accuracy measure your waist’s circumference just below the belly button.
The fabric is a rayon and polyester blend with a lightweight feel and very subtle ridged texture that launders well (80% polyester, 20% rayon).
